Once the leading Hungarian manufacturer, Csepel was taken over by the State after the war and soon lost its original identity. Csepel was a Hungarian State-owned factory that built 2 stroke scooters and motorcycles. Different brand names were used at various times including Pannonia, Danuvia, Tunde and Panni. The factory finally folded in 1975.
