The Atlantic Motorcycle Competition Riders Association held its first event of the year this past weekend. Sorry to say there were no vintage Suzukis in evidence. Lightweight racing was dominated by RZ 350's; they seem to be the weapon for Shubenacadie. Jamie Fraser won the Superbike race on his RC30, as usual. Dave Jack had a great ride on his Honda 350F, beating some guy on an RD350LC in a photo finish. Wendell Allen rode a mean race starting from pit lane on his Yamaha 650 twin in Vintage HW to finish on the podium. Terry McPhee won HW Sportsman riding a 550 Seca. There were only two crashes, neither of which resulted in serious injury. Lots of fun was had by all (except for me, that is, but someone has to be the Tech Inspector).
