    Ram Air Shroud

I've heard it both ways over the years about the Ram Air. I do know from my stock car racing days that a shroud to channel the air to the radiator is a necessity on the track. It increases the velocity of air passing through the radiator and directs air which would otherwise not pass through the radiator through it. I've seen the difference on the track, at least in a car. Some of the vintage organizations make you remove the Ram Air before running in certain classes. Could it be they know about the advantages of running one?
