Kreidler motorcycles were built by a Stuttgart company from 1951. They specialised in 50cc motorcycles and mopeds. The Florett models were particularly popular. The first racers were introduced from 1959 and and were modelled on the road bikes. Kreidler quickly won success and collected six World Championships and set records in the 50cc category. Sales fell in the early 80s and the company folded.
