I thought you might like to see this picture of my granddad on one of the bikes he owned immediately after WW2.  He worked as a dispatch rider for Fleet Street & you can see him here with two of his friends & colleagues.  I have a few pictures of him on a Triumph & a Vincent Black Shadow, he owned them all & unfortunately sold them all!.

My granddad is the one on the far left.  You will notice that he is still wearing his RAF Support jacket which he rode in for many years.  He is still alive even though he stills suffers from Malaria which he caught from the treatment he received at the hands of the Japanese after the fall of Singapore.
