The Megola was designed by Fritz Cockerell who also produced light-weight machines under his own name. The 640cc 5 cylinder radial engined machine was very radical for its day. The engine was mounted in the front wheel and rotated aound a stationary crankshaft. There was no clutch or gearbox and the machine was rapid and handled well due to the low center of gravity. racing versions were also produced.
