What is WISE?
WISE the Western Institute of Social Ecology, is a non-profit incorporated association.The Society came into existence out of the hopes and dreams of a small group of people with a vision and the passion to turn their idealism into practical community outcomes.
Based on shared values and a desire to create opportunities for communities to come together and explore sustainable working relationships, the group now wishes to expand and include others who would like to share our values and mission.
We are passionate about promoting ways of working together that lead to great outcomes for organisations and the people in them as well as the communities they serve. Whether it is practical ideas for work and well being or visionary strategies for organisation and community effectiveness, we will be working to make these concepts available and accessible.
We plan to become the centre of excellence for events, speakers and information on sustainable social relationships, developing both a virtual network of skills and connections as well as a physical resource and meeting centre.
